Overdrive

The vinyl pressing is dead quiet between tracks, which really lets the fuzzy guitar pop on side two. I’ve had this album on CD for years, but the 12-inch format gives the low end a punch I wasn’t expecting.

Cranked this up on a quiet Sunday morning and the Superjumbo pressing really captures that fizzy garage-pop energy—the bass is punchy and the guitars bite without getting muddy. Side B's flow is especially fun, like a little mixtape of their best riffs. Glad I finally grabbed this one on wax.

The 12-inch pressing is solid and quiet, with the SUPERJUMBO branding on the sleeve adding a nice collector touch. I wish the jacket came with a printed inner sleeve, but the vinyl itself plays clean and the energy of the band comes through great.
