The two records are pressed on nice heavy vinyl, and the soundstage feels wide and clear on my turntable. It's a dense, moody listen front to back, exactly what I wanted from a double LP.

The gatefold sleeve has a nice matte finish that feels sturdy, and the vinyl itself played without any surface noise right from the first track. I've been listening to this album for years, but hearing it on the 2LP set brings out details I never noticed before.

Spinning this 2LP set for the first time, and the pressing is dead quiet between tracks—no pops or hiss, just the music breathing. The gatefold feels sturdy enough to survive a few moves, which is exactly what I wanted from a standard edition.
