I put this on my turntable and the interplay between the trio is absolutely stunning, especially how the piano and drums lock together. The pressing is dead quiet, letting every subtle detail of the performance shine through.

The bass lines on this record are just phenomenal—Scott Colley really shines through the mix. Wolfgang Muthspiel’s guitar work is beautifully clear, and the whole trio has this perfect live energy. A fantastic addition to any jazz vinyl collection.

The pressing is quiet and the packaging feels solid, which is exactly what you want for a record like this. Muthspiel, Colley, and Blade all get room to breathe across the grooves, and it’s become my go-to for late-night listening sessions.
