We Insist! マックス・ローチのフリーダム・ナウ・スイート

This pressing is incredibly quiet—no surface noise at all between tracks—letting Roach’s drum work and the vocal urgency hit you right in the chest. The 12-inch format gives the bass and saxophone room to breathe, making the emotional weight of the performance feel immediate.

I can't believe how crisp and clear the horns sound on this pressing—it really makes the social message hit even harder. The 12-inch format gives the drums so much room to breathe.

The packaging is sturdy and the vinyl itself arrived perfectly flat with no warps—a relief for such a dense, powerful recording. The sound quality on this pressing really brings out Abbey Lincoln’s vocals in the third movement.
