Bastard Jazz presents: Ecology Division

The curation on this 12-inch is spot-on—every track flows into the next without a dull moment, and the vinyl itself feels hefty and well-pressed. I’ve spun it three times already tonight, and the depth across the artists really shines on a good system.

The pressing is dead quiet, and the way the bass grooves lock in across both sides makes this a perfect crate-digging session record. I've been spinning "Ecology Division" for a week straight and still catch something new each time.

The pressing is clean and quiet, which is nice, but some of the tracks feel a bit uneven in energy. I was hoping for a more consistent vibe throughout the whole side. Still, it's a decent addition to my collection.
