Unplugged in New York (CD)

The CD's packaging is sturdy and the track listing is clean, so I can easily jump to "The Man Who Sold the World" without fumbling. The raw, unpolished audio really makes you feel like you're in the audience that night.

Listening to this CD brought me right back to that intimate night; the crowd's quiet between songs adds so much to the raw emotion. The sound quality is fantastic, really capturing Kurt's voice and the gentle strumming of the acoustic guitar.

That live acoustic set still gives me chills every single time the CD spins up. The audio quality on this pressing feels incredibly warm and raw, like you're right there in the studio.
