Saturnight (50th Anniversary)

The recording quality on this Saturnight vinyl is incredible — you can actually hear the crowd's whisper between songs, making it feel like you're right there in Tokyo's Sunplaza Hall. It's become my favorite way to experience that 1974 performance.

The warmth of the audience during the June 22, 1974 show at Sunplaza Hall really comes through on this vinyl, making it feel like you're right there in Tokyo. I've been playing it nonstop since it arrived, and the track selection captures a great live energy.

Picked this up because I’m a huge fan of his early 70s work, and the live recording from Tokyo in ’74 captures such an intimate energy. The vinyl itself is quiet and well-pressed, letting the warmth of his voice and guitar come through beautifully.
