Pretenders II

Pulled it out of the sleeve and the pressing is dead quiet, which is what I want from a 12-inch. Side two has that raw energy I remember, and the standard edition feels like a solid reissue without any gimmicks.

The vinyl feels weighty and has a nice, flat surface that plays without any warping. The 12-inch format really lets the bass breathe on tracks like "Talk of the Town." Exactly what I wanted for my collection.

Side A kicks off with such a clean, punchy mix that I kept flipping the record over just to hear it all again. The 12-inch format really lets the guitar work breathe, and there's zero surface noise on my copy.
