The vinyl itself is dead quiet, no surface noise at all, which lets the swirling guitars on songs like "How Long Have You Known?" really breathe. This pressing's new cover art gives the album a fresh, moodier feel that fits the music perfectly.

The new artwork for this pressing is really striking in person, and the 12-inch format gives the reverb-filled guitars room to breathe. It came well-packaged and plays through without any surface noise I can notice.

The gatefold sleeve feels sturdy enough to survive my careless shelf-shoving, and the new artwork inside gives this an entirely different mood than the original. Side B's transition into "Doused" still hits like a wall of sound, even on my modest setup.
