モンク・ムーブメンツ

The bass on this Batiste Piano series pressing is warm and full, really brings out the depth in Monk's compositions. Side A flows perfectly with no surface noise at all, just clean piano tones.

The pressing is incredibly quiet between tracks, letting the piano solos breathe beautifully. I’ve been spinning side A on repeat all evening.

The packaging was sturdy and the vinyl itself arrived flat as a pancake, no warping at all. Spun it as the fourth in the Batiste Piano series and the sound quality is crisp, though I wish the sleeve had a bit more artwork. Honestly, it's a solid addition to any jazz collection.
