I was pleasantly surprised by the clarity of the audio on this vintage Motown pressing, the ballads come through warm and rich. It's a solid addition to any soul collection from that era.

The ballads on this 1967 Tamla pressing are pure velvet, and Smokey’s voice cuts through with that warm, analog crackle I was hoping for. Side one flows beautifully with no skips, and the sleeve’s aged look adds a nice touch of history.

This pressing is incredibly quiet—no crackle at all, which lets Smokey’s vocals on the ballads really shine. The sleeve arrived in pristine condition, just like the vinyl itself. Perfect addition for any Motown soul collection.
