Delusions of Banjer (180gソーラーフレア・ヴァイナル)

Paul Leary’s production really shines on this pressing—the low end on “Banjer” cuts through perfectly. The 180g vinyl feels solid and flat, and the AAA lacquers give it a warmth I wasn’t expecting from a reissue.

I’ve been waiting decades for this to finally get a vinyl reissue, and the 180g pressing on solar flare vinyl sounds incredible. The lacquers cut from the original tapes really bring out the low end on Mark Rubin’s upright bass.

The soundstage on this pressing is unreal—Paul Leary's production really pops on the 180g wax, and the cut is dead quiet between tracks. I've spun it three times already and it's like hearing the Banjer boys in the room with you.
