Brown Acid - The Twentieth Trip CD

The booklet's liner notes really capture that dusty, underground feel—like I'm discovering these tracks on a forgotten radio station. The raw energy of the drum intro on track three is exactly what I was hoping for from this era.

The guitar tones on track six hit that perfect early-70s fuzz I've been chasing for years. Sound quality is surprisingly clean for a collection of vintage local recordings—each riff comes through with real punch. This disc has been on repeat since it arrived.

The liner notes alone are worth it—they frame these ten tracks like a bat-swarm of vintage hard rock, and the sound quality on this CD is surprisingly punchy for local-era recordings. I've spun it three times already and keep catching new zaps in the guitar tones.
