PENELOPE

The bass lines on "Slugger" hit just right, capturing that dreamy indie punk energy I was hoping for. Arrived with a lyric sheet inside, which made following along with Logan Hammon’s storytelling a lot more fun.

Side A's first track grabbed me immediately, the blend of dreamy guitar and Logan's vocal delivery is just perfect. The whole record has that lo-fi warmth that makes you want to sit with the lyrics.

Listening to this in my car on repeat, the vinyl has such a warm, rich sound that really brings out those dreamy Waxahatchee-meets-Frankie Cosmos vibes. The gatefold sleeve feels sturdy and well-made too.
