ダラ・トニ

The reverse board jacket gives this album a gritty, handmade feel that matches the energy of the music. Ajate’s Afro groove hits hard on this 180g pressing, and I’ve already spun it three times since it arrived.

This pressing is so heavy it feels like a record should, and the reverse board jacket gives it a nice sturdy, old-school touch. The Afro groove energy on side A is explosive—perfect for shaking the living room floor.

The 180g pressing feels substantial and the vinyl is dead quiet between tracks. I wish the liner notes included more details about the band's Afrobeat influences, but the music itself is an energetic, immersive listen.
