300% DYNAMITE! ジャマイカのスカ、ソウル、ロックステディ、ファンク、ダブ (ブラック・ヴァイナル・エディション)

The pressing is dead quiet between tracks, and the bass on Lee Perry's cuts hits harder than I expected from a black vinyl reissue. This compilation perfectly captures that crossover moment when reggae owned the dancefloor.

Been hunting this pressing for a while and the black vinyl sounds warm and full, no surface noise at all. The dub cuts on side two are the real highlight, bass hits deep without muddying the horns.

The 300% Dynamite pressing sounds warm and full on my setup, with the basslines hitting exactly the way this era of Jamaican music should. Side A alone is worth it, especially the rocksteady cuts that flow straight into the funkier dub tracks.
