I finally got this on vinyl and the production by Robin Guthrie really shines through—the guitar layers feel spacious and dreamy. Side B flows perfectly from start to finish, exactly what I hoped for.

The vinyl pressing is dead quiet between tracks, which lets the reverb on "Sweetness and Light" really breathe the way it should. Robin Guthrie's production still sounds fresh over thirty years later, like it was recorded yesterday.

The remaster really opens up "Sweetness and Light" — you can actually hear the space around the guitars now. Vinyl itself is dead quiet and flat, no warp at all.
