The vinyl pressing really captures the raw, analog hiss of Steve Fisk's original Ellensburg recordings. I've been waiting years to hear these early tracks on 12-inch wax, and the low-end rumble is perfect.

Picked this up for the raw energy of those early Ellensburg sessions, and the cassette-to-vinyl transfer really preserves that lo-fi grit. The bass on "The Other Side" punches through perfectly on my turntable.

Steve Fisk's production on this is so raw and atmospheric, exactly what you'd expect from a 1985 Ellensburg session. The vinyl itself is dead quiet, no surface noise at all, and the tracklist hits harder than I remembered. Worth every penny for anyone into early Pacific Northwest stuff.
