I’ve been spinning this early Weezer demo compilation all week, and the raw energy of those 1992 recordings really comes through on the black vinyl. The record is well-pressed for a demo release, though I wish the sleeve had a bit more info about each track.

The surface noise is a bit higher than on my newer pressings, but the raw energy of these early Weezer demos more than makes up for it. It's a nice piece of history for any fan of those first recordings.

The demos sound rougher than the album versions, which is exactly what I wanted from these early 1992 recordings. Pressing is quiet and flat, no warping at all. Just wish the sleeve had a little more info about where each track came from.
