Le premier album d'Akio Niitsu, "I/O(i・o)" sorti en 1978, a été produit dans un studio maison aménagé à partir d'un débarras chez lui.

Abigail E. ★★★★★

Three years of tinkering in a converted storeroom paid off—you can hear every patient choice in the grooves. The homemade production gives it a warm, intimate texture that polished studios rarely capture, and the 1978 pressing still sounds remarkably clear.

This album feels incredibly personal, you can hear the homemade studio in the rich, slightly raw analog sound. I love how much care went into every layer of composition over those three years. It’s a gem for anyone who appreciates late 70s experimental music.

Timothy ★★★★☆

The homemade-studio backstory drew me in, and the pressing does justice to that lo-fi, intimate production—warm and clear without losing its bedroom charm. Only wish the sleeve had a bit more liner note detail, but the music itself is a time capsule worth owning.
