Howl (20th Anniversary Remastered Edition CD)

I popped this in the car and "Shuffle Your Feet" immediately sounded cleaner and punchier than my old copy. You can really tell the Abbey Road remastering brought out details in the low end I'd never noticed before.

The remastering is genuinely noticeable—the guitars on "Shuffle Your Feet" sound tighter and punchier than on my old copy, and it's clear Abbey Road did their thing. Getting all three singles on one disc makes this a solid pick-up even if you already own the original.

The remastering at Abbey Road really brings out the warmth in the guitar tones, especially on "Weight of the World." My only small complaint is that the liner notes could have included a bit more background on the recording sessions, but the sound quality itself is fantastic.
