Harper S. ★★★★★

Finally, a vinyl copy of Baby Huey’s legendary album that does justice to Curtis Mayfield’s production—the horns and his raw vocals sound incredibly alive. The Rhino Reserve pressing is thick and flat, with no warps right out of the sleeve.

George ★★★★★

This pressing is incredibly quiet — no surface noise at all, which is rare for a record this old. The mastering really lets Baby Huey's raw vocals and the full band sound shine through. A must-have for any funk or soul collection.

Thomas ★★★★★

Finally got my hands on the 1970 pressing and the vinyl is pristine, the Rhino Reserve mastering really brings out the warmth in Baby Huey's voice. Such a tragic loss that this was his only solo album, but Curtis Mayfield's production shines through every track. Perfect addition to any soul collecti
