Something to Write Home About (25th Anniversary Deluxe Edition)

The gatefold jacket is beautifully done with the original artwork, and the included liner notes from the band add real context to these songs. I'd forgotten how raw and energetic tracks like "Action & Action" still sound on vinyl.

Spinning this tonight and it still hits with that same electrifying, scrappy energy from 25 years ago, but the remastered sound really lets the guitars breathe. The deluxe packaging is a nice touch too, feels like owning a piece of my teenage years all over again.

I was hoping for some new liner notes or bonus material to make this 25th anniversary edition feel special, but it’s really just the same album on a heavier vinyl. The pressing is clean enough, though, and the original songs still hold up well after all these years.
