Quick answer
For most everyday carry needs, the VHS Field Bag 3.0 is the better all-rounder with its refined design and versatile fit. Choose the Ken Field Bag if you want a compact, limited-edition bag that's perfect for a Switch Lite or original Gameboy.
Design and capacity trade-offs
The VHS Field Bag 3.0 is described as a classic everyday bag in a new, hi-quality refined form. It's designed to carry a Switch Lite, Gameboy, kendama, PSP Vita, or Dreamcast controller, making it a flexible option for handheld gamers and hobbyists. Its larger capacity means you can fit more gear, but it may be bulkier for minimal carry.
The Ken Field Bag is a limited edition bag that measures 6" x 8" x 2". It's specifically designed to fit a VHS tape, original Gameboy, or Switch Lite perfectly. This compact size is great for minimalists, but it won't accommodate larger items like a Dreamcast controller or a kendama.
Availability and exclusivity
The Ken Field Bag is a limited edition item, which adds to its appeal for collectors. However, it's only able to be shipped to customers in North America, so international buyers will need to consider the VHS Field Bag 3.0 instead.
The VHS Field Bag 3.0 appears to be a regular stock item, making it more accessible for a wider audience. If you're outside North America or want a bag you can easily replace or purchase later, the VHS Field Bag 3.0 is the safer choice.
