American Weekend (CD)

The raw, personal songwriting really comes through on this CD—each track feels like a page from a diary. I’ve been playing it on repeat during late-night drives, and the intimate atmosphere fits perfectly. Definitely a solid addition to my collection.

This album’s lo-fi production feels so honest and unpolished, like listening to someone’s personal diary set to music. The quiet acoustic tracks really shine on the CD format, with no digital compression to muddy the intimate vocals.

I’ve been playing this CD on repeat since it arrived, and the raw, intimate feel of the recording really comes through on track after track. The reflective, personal lyrics hit harder in the car on a quiet drive, and the disc itself arrived in perfect shape with no scratches.
