I wasn't sure what to expect from a standard edition, but the vinyl itself plays clean and quiet right out of the sleeve. The mix on this record has a nice warmth that really suits the band's sound.

The gatefold sleeve feels sturdy and the vinyl itself came flat, no warps at all. Spun it twice already and the pressing is clean, quiet between tracks. Band Of Horses really shine on this one.

I was really hoping this would be the limited color version, but the standard black pressing sounds surprisingly warm and rich. The gatefold sleeve is sturdy and the lyrics insert is a nice touch.
