The Yips

The vinyl pressing itself is crisp and warm, really letting Chris Walla's production shine through the murky textures. I've had it on repeat since it arrived, the whole "yips" concept hits harder with each listen.

The production on this album is so crisp, I can hear every nuance Chris Walla brought to the mix. The way the vinyl captures the raw emotion of the title track about performance anxiety is spot-on.

The concept of losing your edge is interesting, but I feel like the songs don't quite push past that theme to land anything memorable. The vinyl itself sounds fine, though the production by Chris Walla is a bit too clean for the raw emotion the lyrics are going for.
