The Transit Rider (CD)

I love how the CD’s track sequence flows from one haunting melody to the next—it’s been on repeat in my car all week. The booklet insert has some neat artwork that matches the mood perfectly.

This folk-art album feels like a journey, with the title track’s intricate arrangement really standing out. The physical CD came securely packaged and plays flawlessly—a nice tangible companion to the music.

The disc itself is a clean, standard CD that plays without any skipping, and the 2006 recording has this warm, earthy quality that really comes through. I’ve had it in my car for a week now and keep coming back to the opening track, it just sets the mood for the whole commute.
