The Ruins of Things Unfinished (CD)

I’ve been listening to this on repeat since it arrived—the production has this warm, live feel that really suits Slow Leaves’ style. It’s one of those albums that gets better with each play.

The whole album flows like one continuous late-night thought, and the way the tracks bleed into each other on the CD makes it feel more like a session than a playlist. I’ve already spun it three times this week and keep catching new details in the quieter moments.

The opening track hooked me immediately with its warm, layered guitar work, and the whole album flows beautifully from start to finish. I've been listening to it on repeat during my commute, and the sound quality on this CD is crisp and clear.
