دموع الظلم

The acoustic reimagining of Funeral for Justice sounds incredible on vinyl, and you can really hear the warmth of the Bunker Studio sessions. The stripped-down arrangements give the songs a new, intimate depth I wasn't expecting. This pressing is quiet and well-centered, which makes a big difference

I’ve always loved the original, but hearing these tracks stripped down at Bunker Studio is like discovering them all over again—the acoustic guitar work on “Funeral for Justice” is hauntingly beautiful.

The acoustic reimagining really brings out the raw emotion in Mdou Moctar’s guitar work, and the recording quality from Bunker Studio is pristine. I’ve been spinning it non-stop since it arrived, and the warmth of the vinyl suits the stripped-down arrangements perfectly.
