Siamese Dream 2xLP

The remastering really brings out the layers in the guitar work, especially on "Cherub Rock." I've been listening to this on repeat and it sounds cleaner than my worn-out cassette ever did.

I finally upgraded my old CD copy, and the 2xLP format gives the album the space it deserves—the bass on "Quiet" hits so much harder. The digital remaster is clean without losing that fuzzy, live-in-the-studio feel from '93.

The 180-gram pressing is quiet and the dynamic range on this remastered edition is excellent. Almost no surface noise, which makes the dense guitar layers on "Mayonaise" sound huge. Only wish the gatefold sleeve were a bit sturdier for the price.
