I’ve been spinning this Mercury Rev record all weekend and the 12-inch vinyl sounds incredibly warm and full. The pressing is quiet with no surface noise, which really lets the dreamy layers breathe.

The gatefold sleeve has this dreamy iridescent finish that catches the light perfectly, and the vinyl itself plays dead quiet with zero surface noise. I’ve had it on repeat all weekend—the soundstage is incredibly wide for a standard 12-inch pressing.

The vinyl itself is clean and plays through without skipping, but the album art on the sleeve feels a bit thin and flimsy for a 12-inch record. I wish the packaging had a bit more heft to match the music inside.
