Random Access Memories 2xLP

The double LP packaging is sturdy and the gatefold sleeve opens smoothly, which I appreciate for display. Side A of my copy plays perfectly flat with no surface noise right out of the shrink.

The 180g pressing gives the basslines real weight, and the surface is dead quiet between tracks. I’ve spun side one three times already and it still feels like a fresh listen each time.

I put this on my turntable last night and the separation between the instruments is incredible, you can really hear the studio detail. The 2xLP gatefold sleeve feels sturdy and well-made, not flimsy like some modern pressings.
