Pyramid 'Work In Progres' RSD'24

Eric Woolfson’s Songwriting Diary versions are fascinating—hearing how the final tracks evolved from his initial demos gives the album a whole new depth. The gatefold sleeve is also a nice touch for the price.

The rough mixes of "Pyramid" have a raw energy that the final album smoothed over, though I wish the vinyl itself came with a lyric insert. The Songwriting Diary versions are a real treat for fans of the process.

The early demos and Eric Woolfson’s Songwriting Diary versions are the real draw here, giving a raw glimpse behind the polished album. Packaging is solid and the pressing sounds clean, though I wish the sleeve had a bit more liner note detail.
