Ride The Lightning (CD)

I'd forgotten how tight the guitar work is on tracks like "Creeping Death" — the remastering gives each riff more clarity without losing that raw 80s edge. This is easily the definitive version to own.

The remastering really brings out the clarity in the guitar riffs without losing that raw 80s production feel. "Creeping Death" sounds absolutely massive through good headphones.

I’d been listening to a worn-out vinyl copy for years, so this CD is a nice upgrade—the remastering really cleans up the guitars without losing that raw thrash energy. Only wish the booklet had more liner notes, but the sound quality alone makes it worth the buy.
