I’ve been waiting for a proper pressing of these ’77 shows, and the clarity on this vinyl is fantastic—Ray Cooper’s percussion really cuts through. The gatefold sleeve is a nice touch too.

The quiet, intimate vibe of just Elton and Ray is perfectly captured on this 180g vinyl, and the pressing is dead quiet between tracks. The soundstage is incredibly wide for a live recording, and the gatefold jacket is a nice bonus.

The 180g pressing feels properly hefty, and the surface noise is almost nil—just a faint crackle between tracks. It's a solid capture of that stripped-down Elton-and-Ray energy, though I wish the sleeve notes had a bit more detail on the setlist.
