Goin' Local (CD)

I'd been wanting to hear Lenny Kaye's guitar work on a solo album for ages, and the tracklist on "Goin' Local" is exactly the mix of rootsy rock and storytelling I was hoping for. The wallet sleeve packaging is simple but sturdy enough for my car's glove compartment.

Finally, a Lenny Kaye CD that captures that raw, late-night session feel. The wallet sleeve is a nice, no-fuss touch and the sound quality on track three is just incredible.

The wallet sleeve is a nice touch, keeps the disc snug without that annoying plastic hinge. Sound quality's solid for a CD, though I wish there were liner notes inside. It arrived quickly and plays clean, so no complaints.
