Junk (Blue & Silver Splatter Vinyl)

The pressing is dead quiet between tracks, and the blue and silver splatter really pops under a good lamp, which is a nice bonus. I got this mainly for that 2008 live take of Summertime Blues with Dickie Peterson, and it doesn’t disappoint — raw and worth the spin.

That blue and silver splatter pattern is even more striking in person, really pops under a lamp. Picked this up for the rare Summertime Blues live track with Dickie Peterson, and the whole pressing sounds wonderfully warm.

The sound quality on this live recording of Summertime Blues with Dickie Peterson is incredible—the vinyl captures every bit of raw energy. The blue and silver splatter design looks even better spinning on my turntable than in the photos.
