Jazzmatazz Volume 1 (Reissue)

I was worried about vinyl quality with reissues, but this 12-inch pressing is dead quiet and the gatefold sleeve feels sturdy. The track sequencing brings back that perfect 90s vibe I’d almost forgotten.

Finally got this on vinyl and the reissue sounds incredibly clean—way better than the worn-out copy I had. The 12-inch format really lets the basslines breathe on side B.

The bass on this reissue is much cleaner than I expected from a standard pressing, and the 12-inch format gives the hi-hats room to breathe. I just wish the inner sleeve wasn't so static-prone, but for the price it's a solid listen.
