The Sophtware Slump 2xLP

The blue-on-blue vinyl looks even better in person than the product photos showed. Side one has a really nice, quiet surface that lets the analog warmth shine through without any pops or crackle.

The color-in-color blue vinyl looks even better in person than in the photos, with a cool marble effect across both records. Spin one side and you instantly hear why this album deserved the double-LP treatment — the soundstage is wide and clean, and the surface noise is practically nonexistent.

The packaging feels sturdy, and the 2xLP setup gives the album plenty of breathing room between sides. The blue-on-blue color is a nice touch, though I wish the second disc had a slightly different shade to stand out more.
