Gold Soundz: تحية جاز لـ Pavement 2LP

The gold vinyl is a gorgeous, heavy pressing that sounds incredibly warm, and the jazz takes on Pavement songs are surprisingly catchy and clever. I’ve been spinning side two non-stop since it arrived.

The gold discs spin with a warm crackle that suits these jazzy reworkings perfectly, and the two-LP tracklist flows like a proper late-night set. I've played side A three times already and keep catching new details in the horns each pass.

The gold vinyl pressing is a gorgeous touch, and the jazz takes on these songs feel genuinely fresh rather than gimmicky. It's a fun listen, though I wish the gatefold had a bit more liner note detail for a Record Store Day release.
