هدايا (فينيل أحمر)

The packaging was flawless, and this debut with Ian Chang and Rafiq Bhatia is easily Dave Douglas's most exciting project in years. Side A's interplay alone justifies grabbing it on wax.

The red vinyl pressing is stunning and the surface is dead quiet, which really lets the interplay between Dave, Ian, and Rafiq shine through. I’ve had it on repeat all weekend, and the dynamics on this RSD release sound incredible.

I’ve been spinning this Dave Douglas red vinyl all weekend, and the pressing is dead quiet with a warm, full sound that really lets Ian Chang’s drums punch through. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is that the gatefold feels a little flimsy for a special edition release.
