الروح في القشرة: مجمع مستقل (مجتمع الدولة الصلبة) الموسيقى التصويرية [استيراد 2xLP]

The bass hits much deeper on vinyl than I expected from the digital version, especially on tracks from the second season. Spinning this double LP brings back the mood of the film perfectly, and the gatefold sleeve is a nice touch for the artwork.

Finally, this soundtrack gets the vinyl treatment it deserves. The 2xLP set captures Yoko Kanno's electronic score with incredible warmth, and having tracks from both seasons plus the film makes it a complete collection.

The pressing is dead quiet between tracks, which matters a lot on a double LP. Hearing Yoko Kanno's score finally on vinyl, especially the new Solid State Society pieces, is like rediscovering the show all over again.
