Fathers & Sons

Listening to this album while driving my kids to school hit me right in the feels—the raw, live production makes you feel like you're in the room with him. “The Man He Sees” had me tearing up at a red light because I’m trying to be that for my own boys.

The live recording really comes through in the warmth of each track, and you can feel the raw emotion in every line about raising boys. I’ve already played it through twice in one sitting, and it’s hitting me harder each time as a dad.

Listening to this in the car with my own boys, the live recording really makes you feel like you're right there in the room with him. "Me and My Kind" hit me harder than I expected.
