The BBC Session Recordings RSD'24

The sound quality on this BBC session vinyl is incredible—you can really hear the raw energy of those live takes from the Top Gear shows. The track selection captures Faces at their loosest and most spontaneous, which is exactly what I wanted from an RSD release.

Finally, a solid collection of those BBC sessions that captures the raw energy better than any bootleg I've heard. The pressing is clean and quiet, and the track selection from the David Lee Travis Show is a real highlight.

I grabbed this for the RSD release and was pleasantly surprised by the warm, clear sound quality on the David Lee Travis show tracks. The vinyl plays quietly with no pops, though I wish the sleeve had included more liner notes about the performances.
