Dopesmoker 2xLP

Finally got my hands on this 2xLP pressing and the sound quality is massive—way better than the old CD I'd been listening to for years. The bass tone on the opening track just rumbles through the whole room. This is the definitive way to experience this monolithic riff.

I originally knew this record as Jerusalem, so hearing the full 63-minute Dopesmoker mix on two LPs finally gave me the complete journey I'd been after. The pressing is dead quiet, letting that monolithic riff breathe the way it should.

The vinyl itself sounds great, especially on the slower sections, but I wish the gatefold sleeve had more liner notes or artwork. The pressing is quiet, which I appreciate, but for a double LP at this price, the packaging feels a bit basic. Solid pressing overall, but could use a little more care.
