Distant Call - Collected Demos 2000 - 2006

Hearing these early, rougher versions of songs I know so well is a real treat — the lo-fi recording adds a raw charm that's missing from the polished final mixes. The gatefold sleeve is a nice touch, and the two bonus tracks make it worth picking up even if you already own the later albums.

The vinyl feels solid and plays cleanly, with barely any surface noise. Hearing early versions of songs from Haha Sound and Tender Buttons gives a cool glimpse into how the tracks evolved.

It's fascinating to hear how these tracks started out raw before becoming the polished versions on Haha Sound and Tender Buttons. The vinyl pressing feels nice and heavy, and the sleeve art captures the lo-fi era perfectly.
