Degradation Trip: 20th Anniversary Box Set

I've been waiting for this reissue since I heard it was coming, and the packaging alone is worth it—that 28-page booklet has some really insightful liner notes. The colored vinyl is a nice touch, but the remastered sound is what makes this set a no-brainer for any fan.

The orange and brown vinyl really pops against the black sleeve, and the whole package feels heavier and more substantial than the original pressing. I threw it on my turntable and the sound is noticeably cleaner, with more depth in the low end.

The booklet alone is worth the price of admission—28 pages of photos and liner notes that make you feel the era. The vinyl itself is a gorgeous Halloween orange and brown swirl that spins perfectly flat. A must-have for any Cantrell fan, the remastering sounds incredible.
