Death Magnetic 2xLP

The 2xLP set plays through without a skip, and the bass on tracks like the title song hits harder than my digital copy ever managed. Swapping sides every two tracks is a small ritual, but the sound depth makes it totally worth it.

The vinyl pressing is surprisingly quiet between tracks, letting the dynamic range of the album really shine through. I’ve been spinning side two nonstop since it arrived.

The gatefold sleeve feels sturdy, and the 2xLP split keeps the album flowing without a mid-side pause. Spinning side one, the guitars cut through clean and the mastering stays true to the original mix.
