ديفيد جوهانسن وذا هاري سميثس SACD

The SACD format really brings out the warmth in these old folk-blues recordings, and the packaging itself is surprisingly sturdy for a limited RSD release. I’ve been listening to it on repeat since I got it.

Blown away by how clean this RSD Black Friday 2025 pressing sounds — that SACD layer makes the old recordings feel brand new without any hiss. If you're into the Harry Smiths era, this is the definitive way to hear it.

The SACD layer really brings out the warmth and depth in Johansen's voice, and the packaging feels like a proper audiophile release. Snagged this on Black Friday and it's been on repeat ever since.
